Dear Sir or Madam,
My husband and I purchased a car from Sunderland about a month ago, and in the mail we received a survey. I thought Sunderland Dealership did above and beyond what a typical dealership normally do”so I decided not only to fill out the survey but write this letter to express how impressed my husband and I both were by the excellent customer service we received.
When we pulled in the lot, the dealership had all the bottom line prices in the windows, which made it easier to see what was in our price range without having to ask a salesman about each and every car and then trying to remember what each one was priced at. I believe car dealers would sell more cars if they all did that. So the term “NO HASSLE PRICE” fits just right at Sunderland.
Next, there is nothing more frustrating than a salesman who practically chases after you trying to sell you a vehicle. We were given space at Sunderland, being able to look at the cars without a salesman looking over our shoulder the whole time. When couples are serious about buying a car they like to discuss amongst themselves rather than in front of a salesman about their likes and maybe dislikes. Or at least my husband and I do. And at Sunderland we were given that space.
“Dave Zimmerman” was our salesman. What we liked about Dave is he didn’t try to rush us in our decision to speed up the buying process, but rather had patience with us no matter how many questions we asked. He made sure he covered all the basics and made sure we understood everything in full. So we consider Dave not just a salesman trying to make a few bucks, but rather a friend who had our best interests in mind. My husband and I have bought several cars within the past few years, and Dave Zimmerman is the best salesman we have ever dealt with. Also the man who took care of our financing whose name I cannot remember was also very efficient with the paper work, he went over the contract, and was very courteous in doing so.
When everything was all finalized and I went to pull off the lot at Sunderland, I was overjoyed not just because I purchased a new car but because it was by far the best buying experience I had ever received. So when I get bored with this car in a couple of years, there’s only one place I am going to buy me a new one, Sunderland Chevrolet in Jerseyville.
Lastly, I believe the best advertisement a business can get is through word of mouth, so with every person who has asked me about my new car, I made sure to mention where we got it, and why we’d go back. That’s the least we can do for a dealership that has done so much for us. Thank You For A Job Well Done!

I purchased a car, a 2004 Malibu in May from your dealership. The salesman was Roger Roentz. I couldn't have asked for a better salesman. He was informative and as my grandson said "not pushy". I like my car very much, it's everything Roger said it would be. When a 75-year-old widow walks into a dealership, she really doesn't know what to expect. I was impressed with Roger.
